Vaughn Harris

New Mexico Native,  Vaughn Harris stretches the boundaries of traditional New Mexican “retablo art.”

As a part of his recovery from a debilitating injury, Vaughn picked up a brush for the first time and under the guidance of a master artist, began painting.

Since that time Vaughn has created “an array” of brilliant Guadalupana art  -each taking on a life vibration and feminine energy as individual and authentic as life itself.

Vaughn exhibits his most recent works yearly at Albuquerque's South Broadway Cultural Center's, Virgin de Guadalupe exhibit each December.

His work is in private collections across the country; a selection of his works can be viewed at his Albuquerque private gallery.

“Vaughn’s art is unique and engaging.  His combining and layering of color is stunning!”  I have several pieces starting my private collection.” Cynthia Gomez, Filmmaker/Collector.
